Verdun is a very small village in in the center of the island of Mauritius. Verdun is situated nearby to the neighborhood Circumstance and the town Saint Pierre. From Verdun, it is a 20 minute drive to the capital city of Mauritius, Port Louis.

Arsenal is a tiny village  in the north of Mauritius with not even 3,000 inhabitants that, nonetheless, is one of the islands' most popular shopping destinations, among locals and tourists alike. Arsenal is part of the Pamplemousses district.

Baie du Tombeau is a bay in northwestern Mauritius, formed at the mouth of the Rivière du Tombeau. The bay is located six kilometres to the north of the nation's capital, Port Louis. The bay's name, which translates as "Tomb Bay", is a reflection of its hazardous waters for ships; many were wrecked off the coast here.

Balaclava is a tiny village nestled in a secluded cove in Turtle Bay, just next door to the lovely tourist village of Grand Baie, on the picturesque North West coast of the island of Mauritius in the Pamplemousses district. The Balaclava Beach in Mauritius is known for its pristine beauty and a plethora of watersports activities.

Mapou is a small village in northern Mauritius, located in both Rivière du Rempart District and the Pamplemousses disctrics. The village is administered by the Mapou Village Council under the aegis of the Rivière du Rempart District Council.

Mon Choisy Beach, located in the north-west of Mauritius, is one of the most popular beaches in Mauritius. It exudes perfect harmony between the sparkling water and the whitish sand. Dotted with Casuarina trees, the beach of Mon Choisy attracts Mauritians and tourists. With a 2.5km beach, Mon Choisy has one of the longest beaches of the island of Mauritius.

Pamplemousses, part of the Pamplemousses district is one a beautiful village where you can enjoy the astonishing nature of it. The botanical garden situated in Pamplemousses is one of the highlights of this small village.

Pointe Aux Biches is a village at the northwest coast of the island of Mauritius. It is a small village but very popular for its white and sunny beach al year. Pointe Aux Biches is also a quiet place to just sit back and enjoy the beach and the nature of the place.

Pointe Aux Canonniers is located at the north part of Mauritius. It is one of the bigger villages and is part of the Pamplemousses district of the island. With its white beach and blue sea, it is attracting people from everywhere on the island. Pointe Aux Canonniers also has some luxury hotels and houses to stay.

Pointe aux Piments is situated just after Pointe aux Biches. It is a quiet and pretty village with small appealing coves and beaches but with not much sand. It is very relaxing to watch all the little fishing boats going out at sea and bringing back proudly their catch of the day. Pointe aux Piments is really brings somehow rest to the soul.
