Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius, is a vibrant town. Located in the north-west of the country, Port Louis is the financial and economic hub of the island and is very lively during the day. The city features the biggest harbour of the island and occupies about one-sixth of the island's total population.

Soreze is a village in the western part of the island of Mauritius. The biggest part of the village is located in the Moka district, but just a northern part of the village is located in the Port Louis District. The village consists mainly of forest and greenery, it also isn't a popular tourist place so it is a quiet place to live.

Belle Vue Harel is a very small village in Mauritius that is located in the Pamplemousses District on the northern part of the island. It is located next to Plaine des Papayes village. The biggest attraction near the village is the football Stadium.

Calodyne is a peaceful coastal village located between Saint François and the popular fishing village of Grand Gaube. It is a pleasant place to live and the inhabitants are far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. The village is located in the Riviere du Rempart District of the island of Mauritius.

Cap Malheureux is a small fishing village located between Grand Baie and Anse la Raie. With its perfect tropical beaches and turquoise blue sea that extends out towards the dramatic Mauritian islands situated off the coast, Cap Malheureux is the embodiment of instagramable. Cap Malheureux is found in the district of Riviere du Rempart on the northern coast of the island of Mauritius, about 30km north of Port Louis the Capital of Mauritius.

Forbach in Rivière du Rempart District is a city in Mauritius a little north-east of Port Louis, the country's capital. It is known as an old quiet village with a lot of greenery. The place mostly attracts shoppers and athletes because there is a small shopping center and a sports club.

The typical village of Goodlands is the place to go for a folk shopping day. Goodlands is located in the North of Mauritius, between the villages of Petit Raffray and St. Antoine. This village of more than 20,000 inhabitants is organized along an active and overflowing main street of shops of all kinds.

Grande Baie is one of the most tourist villages of Mauritius, it has a big shopping mall and nice white beach with a very blue colored sea. Grande Baie is located in at the north coast of the island and is situated in the Riviere du Rempart District. It is a very lively village by day. In the weekends, a lot of people visit the beach of Grande Baie.

Grand Gaube is a sleepy fishing village located approximately 10km from the Grand Baie on the northeast coast of Mauritius. This coast is typified by small bays and rocky headlands which form a stunning coastline. It is a quiet village with not so much inhabitants and away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns.

Haute Rive is a small village located on the northeast coast of Mauritius in the Riviere du Rempart District. It is well known for its stunning scenery and visitors with a passion for diving will be right at home here as there are several stunning deep blue water dive sites to jump in to.
