West Mauritius at a glance

Discover unique panoramas in the western area of Mauritius Island. Enjoy wonderful sunsets at Tamarin and Flic-en-Flac. Experience the Mauritian culture through its monuments and historical sites of this region of the island. Le Morne Mountain, classified as one of the UNESCO world heritage site, is a strong historical symbol for Mauritius as it reminds us that slavery prevails long ago in Mauritius. Then visit, the Chamarel Seven Coloured earth, a place to go to discover how nature is wonderful.

The Mauritian western region is made of two distinct aspects. In the picturesque villages of Chamarel and Le Morne, time seems to stand still. On the other side, Flic-en-Flac is one of the most animated places of the west region. This coastal village is well developed with many properties, night clubs, hotels, restaurants as well as apartments which are, of course, surrounded by all necessary facilities and services. It is however possible to relax at Flic-en-Flac on its nice public beach made of a white sand and a calm sea.
